• Print device Status – From one central place you can track the status of all printing devices. Provided information includes the current status of the device (ready to print, out of paper, out of toner, error messages, etc.), printed page counters, working load of each machine, and other useful info.
• Users and user groups Statistics – It is possible to access statistics for individual users or departments, for any period of time. It is possible to trace the printing services usage to the finest detail, for example the exact time of printing for any user on a particular device etc. In addition to the online web usage statistics, you can also configure scheduled reports to be sent by e-mail.
• Departmental / Project Chargeback – Based on the Print and Copy Accounting application, Departmental Chargeback can allocate costs to internal departments or budget centers for accounting and budgeting purposes.
• Real cost of printing – For each device, a corresponding cost of printing and copying can be set. Using statistics, you can easily monitor the real cost for printing and compare the efficiency of individual printers.
• Policy Print – in addition to reducing costs by optimizing your print fleet, you can also discourage excessive and unnecessary printing habits leading to an increased printing efficiency amongst employees. Policy Print allows you to set up policies and rules to help control unwarranted printing activities.
• Secure access to print devices – If a copy machine is equipped with the PMS terminal, its control panel is locked, allowing only the authorized users to gain access. Then, assign each user a quota, or just check the usage statistics from time to time.
• Secure / deferred Print – When user sends a job to the printer, it is not printed until the user presents his/her ID card or PIN to the PMS terminal at the printer. This way it is guaranteed that no one can exploit the printed data, thus answering the main argument many users have for keeping their own personal printer.
• Follow2print – controls the release of print jobs sent from employee workstations to printing devices, allowing for improved security when printing jobs to shared, network devices. In addition, employees experience the convenience of being able to collect their documents from any devices that have been “grouped” together.
